I saw a foster village model in Gaba when I was there and it was really thriving. It was 10 - 15 kids placed with a foster mom in one house. All the homes were exactly the same. At the time they had 11 homes. Each mom also had her own garden to tend. The kids were sponsored and payment for the mom's services was rendered by paying school fees for the mom's kids. We spent 3 days there and loved what they were doing. I would like to see Rapha have nice places like that for the kids to sleep in. God knows what the real needs are, though.
